EndoDay Privacy Policy
EndoDay: Endometriosis Diary, by One More Day Health. Last updated: October 19, 2026.
EndoDay is a private symptom and pain diary. This page explains exactly what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, and what you log stays on your phone.
Your diary stays on your device
- Pain levels, body-map regions, bleeding, symptoms, what you tried, notes, cycle dates and appointment dates are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that receives them, and we cannot read them.
- There is no sign-up, no email and no password.
- If you share a report, you choose to do it through your phone's share sheet and you choose who receives it. The report is built on your device.
- Because the data lives only on your device, deleting the app or using Settings > Delete all data removes it. We cannot recover it for you.
What the app sends over the internet
- Feature flags. The app fetches a small public settings file from a fixed web address to learn whether optional features (for example ads) are switched on. This is a plain download. It does not include your diary entries, and it is not tied to an account.
- Usage sharing (optional, off by default). If you turn on "Share anonymous usage" in Settings, the app sends anonymous event names (for example that a screen was opened) through Google Firebase Analytics so we can see which features are used. These events never contain health information: no pain values, symptoms, cycle days, dates, notes or conditions. Turn it off at any time in Settings and the app stops sending.
- Crash reporting is off. The app does not use Crashlytics or any crash upload service.
- Purchases. If you subscribe to Premium, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive no card or billing details. The app checks your subscription status with the store on your device.
Advertising
The free version may show a single banner ad on the Calendar and Insights screens (never on the check-in or the report). Ads are currently switched off and will only appear if we turn them on. If they appear, they are served by Google AdMob, are requested as non-personalized, are limited to a family-friendly content rating, and are not shown to Premium subscribers. We do not give any ad service your diary entries, symptoms, cycle information or health conditions. Where required, the app asks for your consent before loading ads. Google's own handling of ad requests is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders (an evening check-in and a reminder before an appointment date you enter) on your device. These are local notifications; no server is involved.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts or advertising profile through the app.
- We do not use your entries to train any model.
Not medical advice
EndoDay is a personal diary. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. It does not replace advice from your doctor.
Children
EndoDay is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on our side. You control everything through the app: edit or delete any entry, turn usage sharing off, or delete all data in Settings. If you are in a region with data-protection rights (for example GDPR or CCPA) and believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above, and if a change affects health data handling we will say so inside the app.
