ThyroDay Privacy Policy
ThyroDay, by One More Day Health. Last updated: October 20, 2026.
ThyroDay is a private thyroid diary for your daily pill, how you feel, your dose changes and your lab results. This page explains exactly what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, and what you log stays on your phone.
Your diary stays on your device
- Your pill log, day ratings, symptoms, notes, dose changes (the label, amount and note you type), lab results (test, value, unit, date and the reference range you copy from your report), appointment questions, appointment and lab dates, and reminder names are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that receives them, and we cannot read them.
- There is no sign-up, no email and no password.
- If you share a report, you choose to do it through your phone's share sheet and you choose who receives it. The report is built on your device as plain text.
- Because the data lives only on your device, deleting the app or using Settings > Delete all data removes it. We cannot recover it for you.
What the app sends over the internet
- Feature flags. The app may fetch a small public settings file from a fixed web address to learn whether optional features (for example ads) are switched on. This is a plain download with no identifier. It does not include your entries, and it is not tied to an account. It is the only request ThyroDay makes itself.
- Usage sharing (optional, off by default). If you turn on "Share anonymous usage" during setup or in Settings, the app sends the names of a few app events (for example that a check-in was saved or the paywall was viewed) and the names of screens through Google Firebase Analytics, so we can see whether the app works. If the app crashed, it may also send the fact that the previous session crashed, with no details. These events never contain health information: no pill log, doses, lab values, symptoms, ratings, dates or notes. Nothing is sent until the app has loaded your saved choice, and turning the switch off stops sending immediately.
- Crash reporting is off. ThyroDay does not send crash reports to Crashlytics or any crash upload service; collection is switched off and any unsent reports are deleted. If the app crashes, a short technical record (the error name, message and where in the code it happened, never your entries) is kept on your device only.
- Purchases. If you subscribe to Premium, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive no card or billing details. The app checks your subscription status with the store on your device.
Advertising
The free version may show a single banner ad on the Calendar and Labs screens (never on the check-in or the report). Ads are currently switched off and will only appear if we turn them on. If they appear, they are served by Google AdMob, are requested as non-personalized, are limited to a family-friendly content rating, and are not shown to Premium subscribers. ThyroDay does not ask for permission to track you. We do not give any ad service your entries, doses, lab results, symptoms or health conditions. Where required, the app asks for your consent before loading ads, and you can change it in Settings. Google's own handling of ad requests is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules your daily pill reminder and check-in reminder on your device. These are local notifications; no server is involved. The reminder shows the name you chose, so you can keep your lock screen as private as you like.
Our other apps
The Insights screen may show a link to our app Phase. On iPhone, ThyroDay checks on your device whether Phase is already installed so it can hide the link; that check is not sent anywhere.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts or advertising profile through the app.
- We do not use your entries to train any model.
Not medical advice
ThyroDay is a personal diary, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, and it does not give medical advice. It shows only what you enter, and it compares a lab result only with the range you type in from your own report. Talk to your doctor before changing how you take any medication.
Children
ThyroDay is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on our side. You control everything through the app: edit or delete any entry, turn usage sharing off, or delete all data in Settings (this also turns usage sharing off). If you are in a region with data-protection rights (for example GDPR or CCPA) and believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above, and if a change affects health data handling we will say so inside the app.
